Start here with Wathaga

Before you do anything, you will need to sign up to Wathaga.


Wathaga has been designed from the ground up to provide an end-to-end tool for the Measurement and Evaluation of First Nations programs. However, it is worth noting that this is still an early version, and we are continuing to add new features and improvements regularly. Most of these improvements come from feedback sent to us by people like you.


Your first step is to create an account


How to Sign Up to Wathaga

Follow these steps to create your Wathaga account and start using the platform.


1. Access the Sign-In Page


2. Enter Your Email Address

  1. On the sign-in page, enter your email address in the field provided
  2. Click Continue.


3. Verify Your Email

  1. Open your email inbox.
  2. Look for an email from Wathaga with the subject “Wathaga Sign Up."
  3. Open the email and find the temporary passcode
  4. Copy the passcode (Ctrl + C).

4. Enter the Temporary Passcode

  1. Return to the Wathaga browser tab.
  2. Paste the passcode (Ctrl + V) into the “Enter your passcode” field.
  3. Click ContinueCreateaWathagaAccountan….

5. Set Up Your Personal Account

  1. Fill in your First Name and Last Name.
  2. Create a secure password
  3. Tick the box to accept Wathaga’s Terms and Conditions.
  4. Click Continue.

6. Choose Your Plan

  • Select from:
    • Free Plan ($0)
    • Lite, Standard, or Pro (paid options, monthly or annual billing)
    • You can upgrade later if needed.

7. Create Your Organisation Account

  1. Enter your organisation name in the field provided
  2. Click Create.
  3. Click Continue when prompted.

8. Add Your First Initiative

  • On the Free Plan, this will be a Mini Initiative
  1. Click Add Mini Initiative.
  2. Enter the initiative name and select the start and end dates
  3. Click Create.

9. Start Using Wathaga

  • Your account, organisation, and first initiative are now set up.
  • You can explore Wathaga’s features, and if you need more capabilities, upgrade to a paid plan.
